Shell & Tube type marine water cooled condensers are usually utilised in machines used marine water cooled standart refrigeration cycle. If heat taken from condenser is utilised, they are called heat pumps. If heat absorbed by the evaporators are used, that are called refrigerators or cooling machines.  

On the shell of the heat exchanger refrigerant gas inlet, liquid outlet, safety valve and service valve connections is existed. Refrigerant is flown from the shell. Marine water, as secondary refrigerant, flows inside of tubes in CMST type condensers. Tubes are connected to a connecting plate from both sides. Marine water is taken out from the connecting plates.  

Condensers are relatively high pressure devices. Actual presure of the device can be changed according to actual refrigerant and condensation temperature. Actual refrigerant and operating temperature conditions should be given by the customer.
